On September 23, 2024, as previously announced, the inauguration of another project of "Panos & Cressida help to children", the two Basketball & Volleyball courts in the exterior and interior of the Gymnasium - Lyceum in Vourgareli in Tzoumerka, where 80 children attend, took place.
The stadiums were funded by contributions and donations of friends and members of the Organization and were dedicated to the memory of Panos Vardakas, Cressida Spachi and Aris Skarentzos, who loved sports and basketball very much.This moving event was attended by the Mayor of Central Tzoumerka Christos Chasiakos, the Deputy Mayors, the Director of the High School Mr. I. Bozmos, and the Lyceum Mrs. Fotiadou, professors and other local stakeholders, local residents, as well as P&C4Life President Ms. Dioni Vardaka from Athens, accompanied by relatives, members and friends of the organization.
[⚽️] The children's faces were painted with joy and excitement, and we enjoyed them in their first volleyball match in their new court.
We thank all those who helped for the completion of this project, and especially Nikos Skarentzos and Dimitris Karavasilis, head of cultural affairs of the Municipality, who supervised all phases of the reconstruction of the stadiums.
