On June 14, 2023, as previously announced, the inauguration of another project of "Panos & Cressida help to children", the renewed Sports Area - basketball, volleyball and mini football court - at the school of Kimolos took place. The stadium was funded by contributions from friends and members of the Organization and by donations in memory of 15-year-old Aris Skarentzos, who also loved basketball, and suddenly passed away from us.
This moving and joyful event was attended by the Mayor of Kimolos Mr. Kostas Ventouris, the Deputy Mayors, the Director of the Gymnasium - Lyceum Mr. Dimitris Kakyris, teachers and other local stakeholders, residents of the island, as well as the President of P&C4Life Mrs. Dionysia Vardaka from Athens, accompanied by the Skarentzos family, Nikos, Pigi and Myrto, but also by relatives and friends of Panos Vardakas and Cressida Spachi.A celebration followed where young and old participated and local treats were offered. [⚽️] After the inauguration, the students with joy and enthusiasm painted on their faces, held their first volleyball match in their new court.
